Bama Bound Pre-Health Student Information

Welcome, Pre-Health Bama Bound Students!Prehealth careers in a word picture

This page is most helpful to students who are currently attending or planning to attend Bama Bound 2024, beginning classes at our university in the Summer or Fall of 2024.

Bama Bound is the first step in your pre-health journey at The University of Alabama. As you navigate Bama Bound, our objective is to help provide information that will help you learn more about our office and how we advise students in creating their first-semester schedule.

Presentations

Our information is broken up into two (equally important) presentations:

Bama Bound Pre-Health – Immediate Info (PDF): Highlights important information that you need to know about building a strong fall 2021 schedule as a pre-health student.

Bama Bound Pre-Health – Advising and Services (PDF): Will introduce you to our office and highlight the importance of advising appointments and joining our listserv to get announcements. Also highlights how we will support you during your first year at The University of Alabama.

Finding your pre-health advisor after Bama Bound

If you attended an Arts and Sciences Bama Bound session: Your advisor will be the advisor that you met with at Bama Bound. Review your CV1B guide here.

For pre-health students from other colleges (College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Education, etc.):

  • Ms. Alex Lindsay Last Names A–I
  • Ms. Amy Caudle  Last Names J-Q
  • Ms. Feyi Odeniyi Last Names R-Z

To add a pre-health track to your DegreeWorks screen, please fill out this request form.

What happens next? Once the fall semester starts, feel free to make a prehealth advising appointment. It is in that setting that we can help you map out your prerequisites for your prehealth track and discuss ways that you can build a strong application for professional school from the beginning.

We look forward to working with you over the next four years! Explore our website and be sure to join our email listserv before Bama Bound ends!
