Greetings Future Doctors!
The Health Professions Advising Office will host three (3) MANDATORY meetings for all Juniors and Seniors who are planning on applying to Medical, Dental, or Optometry School for the entering class of 2018. There are three dates/times to choose from and you are only required to attend one (1) of the mandatory meetings in order to be eligible to receive the University’s Health Professions Committee Interview and Composite Letter. Here are your options:
- November 7th 2016 in 205 Gorgas Library at 5pm
- November 15th 2016 in 38 Lloyd Hall at 8pm ** this is a correction to the flyer that was distributed in the October 2016 HPAO newsletter. Please note this changed time and location**
- January 19th 2017 in 205 Gorgas Library at 5pm.
The purpose of the mandatory meeting is to outline the UA application process for those students interested in obtaining a Committee Interview and Composite Letter from our Health Professions Advising Office.
To register, please go to www.prehealth.ua.edu and click on our Events Calendar. Select one of the meeting dates from the list above. Each date has instructions and a RSVP form attached to it.
All of the meetings will provide the same content. Please do not register for more than one date. If your first choice meeting date is full, please choose another date as we are unable to open up additional seating due to building restrictions.
Attendance will be taken so please BE ON TIME so that we may have time to answer questions near the end of the presentation. Again, this is only for students applying for admission to Medical, Dental, and Optometry programs for the 2018 Application Cycle.
If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org .
